A Sailing Club Run by Racers

Founded in 1978, the Small Yacht Sailing Club of Oregon (SYSCO) exists to provide Columbia River sailors with affordable opportunities for racing, cruising, and camaraderie on the water. With over 100 active members, SYSCO is Oregon’s largest sailboat racing and cruising club, bringing together sailors across a wide range of fleets—including level, one-design, and handicapped classes.

  • Minimal Cost – $160 per year, no initiation, no entry fees

  • Educational events – Dave Perry seminar, Lifesling, etc.

  • Social gatherings – Delta Cruise, Summer Barbecues, etc.

SYSCO is a member of the Oregon Corinthian Sailing Association (OCSA). Check out all the racing news in the Portland metro area by visiting Sailpdx.org.
